    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Just Like Family Home Care in Canada. In this role, you will provide vital support and caregiving services to seniors, making a meaningful difference in their lives and the lives of their families.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide compassionate personal care to seniors, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
    • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing/showering, dressing, and meal preparation.
    • Support clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques.
    • Help clients maintain a clean and safe living environment.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care needs and progress.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
    • Knowledge of dementia care practices is an asset.
    • Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting as needed.
    • Compassionate attitude towards seniors and a strong desire to help others.
    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and families.

    Job Details:

    • Job Type: Part-time, Casual
    • Hourly Wage: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
    • Benefits: Casual dress, dental care, flexible schedule, vision care, wellness program
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
    • License/Certification: Driving License and Reliable Vehicle (preferred)
    • Work Location: In person
