For 75 years, we have been living our mission to connect and empower the MS community to create positive change and you can be part of that Our team is looking for a Manager, Community Fundraising in Manitoba, Ontario, or Atlantic Canada, on a full-time basis working 35 hours per week.     Requirements

    The impact you will have:

    The Manager, Community Fundraising ensures the program's successful execution across their region to generate participation and revenue for greater impact toward a world free of MS. This role cultivates networks of MS community members to take initiative and bring relentless focus in order to benefit those individuals who are deeply affected by MS.

    Key Areas of Impact:

    • Leads a cross‐functional team, ensuring the team meets its objectives and revenue targets, collaborating with MS community members across portfolios on shared objectives.
    • Manages the program and budget, including meeting milestones and financial objectives, and ensuring national consistency.
    • Supports the development and execution of overall strategy in alignment with the organization's strategic plan.
    • Builds and maintains a portfolio of key community relationships to increase participation and secure revenue.

    Our ideal candidate:

    • Has deep knowledge of peer-to-peer fundraising, event management, event marketing, and budget management.
    • Uses innovative methods to event strategy, fundraising and execution to recognize opportunities and find new and better approaches.
    • Is experience-focused, keeping the MS community top of mind to provide an exceptional event experience.
    • Works extremely well with both internal and external stakeholders, valuing and encouraging new and diverse perspectives to achieve impact.
    • Contributes to an environment in which everyone feels valued, has a sense of belonging and is empowered to participate.
    • Purposely develops trusting professional relationships with the MS community to steward, collaborate, and achieve impact.
    • Uses data to gain insights, solve problems and inform decisions.
    • Adjusts thinking and behaviour to face change with resilience, using experience to fuel growth.
    • Can lift up to 50lbs (considered an asset)
