- Actively pursue and produce sales related to HVAC Products and Solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the broader Ontario Commercial Sales Team to help achieve the goals and objectives of the market team.
- Support the outside sales team as directed by the Commercial Sales Leader.
- Maintain productive relationships with new and existing customers.
- Support Customers in understanding their specific project requirements and tailoring equipment offerings to suit those requirements.
- Work with key suppliers on quoting, pricing, and product sourcing.
- Perform prospecting activities to identify potential product sales through report analysis, customer communications, and direct collaboration with the assigned customers and their dedicated Outside Sales Representatives.
- Proactively reach out to new and existing customers to uncover opportunities by leveraging Carrier Enterprise's value proposition as the sole distributor of Carrier Commercial products in Canada.
- Follow up on quotes and leads to close sales and achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Monitor the industry for competitive information including programs, pricing, and services to help grow and improve CE's offering.
- Drive customer education and adoption of CE's Digital Platforms to streamline and accelerate the sales process while enhancing customer service delivery.
- Leveraging tools such as Salesforce to document the sales management process.
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- HVAC industry experience is desired and would be an asset.
- Post-Secondary education is required. A degree in engineering, technical diploma or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- A demonstrated desire to understand customer needs, provide personalized service and the understanding of the importance of keeping customers informed is key.
- A proven track record of both proper problem assessment and solution development.
- Strong business and communication/interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and orally
- Relationship building skills are a must-have.
- A customer-centric approach is imperative and the understanding that internal customers are as important as external customers is the key to success.

Carrier Enterprise Canada (CEC) is a national distributor of residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration products, parts and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors. CE operates primarily in the business-to-business environment where its products are sold through licensed HVAC dealers and HVAC contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliver and service Carrier, Bryant & Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets. CEC offers customers a wide range of HVAC/R product lines, competitive pricing, best-in-class customer service and valuable, time-saving that positions CEC as an industry leader. With 36 locations in Canada and over 150+ locations, in 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, there is a location to service our customers HVAC/R needs.
In this role, the successful candidate will focus on supporting the Commercial sales team by growing sales in their assigned territory – in this case, the GTA. Providing exceptional customer service levels and showcasing elite value will drive incremental sales and solutions to existing customers in a B2B environment. This position works in collaboration with outside sales representatives with all HVAC products and solutions offered, and provides additional support as needed. The position also collaborates independently with assigned customers to create solutions for their HVAC needs and works with them through the entire sales process.

Pay Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 Annual
This pay range is not a gurantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to resposibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Carrier Incentive Plan or a role-specific comission/bonus.
