What you will be doing - key responsibilities:

The Dental Assistant is responsible for all chair-side assisting for FFA & CAT
Managing the patient experience through outstanding customer service skills.
Take intraoral records and radiographs.
Provide excellent orthodontic assisting skills to our clinical team.
Perform iTero scans.
Provide oral health education to our patients and families.
Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.

A capable Dental Assistant, willing to perform expanded duties in treating orthodontic patients.

What you bring - qualifications:

1+ years' experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
Previous experience in an orthodontic office (preferred).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
Keen attentiontodetail and time management skills.
Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
