Signature Orthodontics is looking for a full-time passionate and energetic Dental Assistant to join our well-established practice in North Edmonton, AB.

What you will be doing - key responsibilities:

  • The Dental Assistant is responsible for all chair-side assisting for FFA & CAT
  • Managing the patient experience through outstanding customer service skills.
  • Take intraoral records and radiographs.
  • Provide excellent orthodontic assisting skills to our clinical team.
  • Perform iTero scans.
  • Provide oral health education to our patients and families.
  • Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.

What you bring - qualifications:

  • 1+ years' experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
  • Previous experience in an orthodontic office (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
  • Keen attentiontodetail and time management skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution, problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
