ABOUT THE POSITION:


A assistant position

for the executive team:

WebMarketers provides its clients with comprehensive solutions in the fields of Technology, Marketing, Intelligence and Creative services. This position would primarily be focused on tasks that support the companies finance, reporting, and general office administration.
Daily responsibilities would involve creating proposals, contracts, invoices, data entry, payroll, expense management, reporting & bookkeeping.
A qualified individual would be excited by the prospect of supporting a fast paced, yet laid back executive team.

COMPENSATION:

- $20/hr (~20hrs/week)

Your skills include, but are not limited to:


  • Critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • 2 years of experience as a Backend developer
  • Strong understanding of web development process
  • 2 years of experience with Wordpress or other CMS framework
  • 2 years of experience with programming languages such as PHP, Node, Python
  • Good organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Working knowledge of git / version control
  • Docker / Containerization
- not required but would be considered an asset

  • General Bookkeeping (e.g., invoicing, receiving payments, preparing statements, managing deposits, recording internal payables and paying outstanding bills, preparing monthly reports, collection of outstanding client payments, etc)
  • Calculating and making payroll and commission payments
  • Creating employment contracts
  • Administrating the company health and dental benefits for employees
  • Providing general clerical support, including data inputting, processing and updating and maintaining company records
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, statements and other material as needed
  • Maintain and update internal documents (i.e., employee training manuals, business documents, policies and procedures, etc.)
  • Assist with updating project schedules using our project management software
  • Sourcing and purchasing supplies for the office as needed (drinks, snacks, computer equipment, etc)
