The church is seeking a dedicated individual to lead its children and youth ministries. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow these ministries, focusing on evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development.

The church is located in St. John's, Newfoundland, and is part of a larger convention. It has a growing children and youth ministry, with a strong focus on worship, Bible study, and service. The community is vibrant, with opportunities for outreach and partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective strategies for children and youth ministry growth
• Recruit, equip, and empower volunteers to lead in these ministries
• Provide leadership and support for the Director of the church camp and other staff members
• Lead evangelism and discipleship efforts among children and youth
• Equip and empower children and youth to serve and lead in ministry
• Collaborate with senior pastor and church leaders to develop and implement a church-wide discipleship pathway
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to strategic planning and implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership skills, including vision casting and team building
• Organization and coordination abilities, with a focus on strategy implementation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to teach and facilitate group studies
• Experience in leading teams and developing volunteers

A seminary or theological degree would be an asset, but not required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for children and youth ministry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to living out their faith in their daily life.
