    DESCRIPTION

    Enterprise Engineering is looking for Microsoft 365 Senior Solution Architect to lead efforts around planning, building and configuring a secure, optimized workplace productivity application suite.

    This role will provide guidance, solutions, principles, standards and best practices for the M365 productivity and collaboration suite implementation at Amazon.


    The Senior Solution Architect will closely collaborate with internal security and engineering teams and vendors to deliver integrations and create mechanisms for deploying, monitoring, maintaining and continually improving the platform to meet the dynamic productivity and collaboration needs of Amazon's global workforce.

    This role also works closely with product and program teams, to understand future requirements and ensure that technical design components are positioned to support future capabilities with little to no code refactoring.


    The successful candidate requires expert level engineering experience on the Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration suite in a global corporate environment (2K+ employees), spanning Teams, SharePoint, Email, etc.

    and advanced features across the M365 toolset.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Configure and provide guidance for the management of the platform spanning collaboration and email, storage, automation and document management, including monitoring for service health issues
    • Influence the product strategy and roadmaps for the platform
    • Provide guidance on platformrelated process improvements, and creation of standards and policies
    • Analyze complex functional and business requirements, and articulate technology tradeoffs and strategic impacts to crossfunctional technical and nontechnical stakeholders, including product managers, technical program managers and business leaders
    • Apply indepth and broad technical knowledge and collaborate with engineers, vendors and other stakeholders to provide innovative solutions to complex platform, integration and multidomain issues
    • Exercise independent judgment when faced with ambiguous situations and broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
    • Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for technical and nontechnical crossfunctional audiences at all levels of the enterprise.
    • Create and document detailed guides and tracking documents
    • Develop standards, target states, and roadmaps, effectively communicating and obtaining consensus across diverse crossfunctional teams

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


    8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

    • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
    • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
    • Deep understanding and handson experience with M365 at enterprise level
    • Experience with administration of Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams, Sharepoint Online, including external sharing
    • Experience with automation solutions such as Power Automate and scripting languages such as PowerShell

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


    5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience

    • Experience working with end user or developer communities

    The base salary for this position ranges from $126,000/year up to $210,400/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.

    Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
