At Enbridge, our Operations Advisors play a key role in supporting the maintenance and the integrity of our pipeline system.
They assist the Operations Manager and Supervisors with programs, processes, training, and communications to analyze metrics and influence achievement of district scorecards and other key performance measures.

- Work with process improvement groups and Supervisors to ensure new and updated utility service processes are delivered and applied accordingly at the district level.
- As assigned, act as Operations Supervisor, and assumes all associated responsibilities and accountabilities during absences such as vacation, training, and illness.
- Provide or facilitate jointly with the Operations Supervisor training programs promoting natural gas safety to external emergency providers (i.e. Fire, police and municipal EMO programs, PACE program).
- Supervise specialized equipment and tools to ensure safe operability (i.e. Stopping & Tapping equipment).
Who You Are:
You will bring with you the combination of education and experience:
- Related university degree (Engineering, preferred) and four‐plus years' experience OR six‐plus years of previous field operations experience OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.
- Exposure to and/or experience in distribution field operations.
- Proven conceptual, communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong technical proficiency and knowledge. A demonstrated understanding of B149 Gas Code is highly desired).
- Experience in crisis management and related decision making skills is considered an asset.
- Valid class G driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record.
Working Conditions:
- This role is comprised of both office and field work (80% and 20% respectively).
- This role may require local travel within the London-Sarnia district.
- Emergency Duty Supervisor rotation is required in this role. The successful incumbent will act in a managerial capacity in providing emergency response activities including ensuring employee and public safety and providing safe service restoration.
