About the Opportunity:


The Forensic Sexual Behaviour Program (FSBP) offers specialized assessment and treatment services to individual in Nova Scotia whose sexual behavior has crossed legal boundaries.

Treatment is currently being offered in four areas across the province (Kentville, Dartmouth, Truro, and Sydney), whereas assessment is primarily centralized in Dartmouth where the coordination of FSBP services for the province is based.


Reporting to the Director, Forensic Psychiatry Services/CZ Mental Health and Addictions Program and working collaboratively with the Clinical Lead of the FSBP, the Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, supervising, and evaluating the FSBP to achieve the ultimate goal of high quality, person-centered, safe and cost-effective services to better support client experience/outcome.

The Manager oversees the interdisciplinary team responsible for the clinical and administrative operations that support the clients referred to FSBP.


The Manager exhibits sound professional judgement and initiative while working within the framework and objectives of the Health Services Program and the Mission and Vision and Strategic Directors of NSH and incorporates into daily practice the Core Competencies and Values of NSH Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Accountability, and Leadership.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Baccalaureate degree from a health discipline; Masters degree would be considered an asset
  • Must be a member in good standing with the relevant health discipline college/association
  • Minimum five years clinical experience
  • Previous leadership/management experience would be considered an asset
  • Previous Mental Health and Addiction Services and/or Forensic Experience an asset
  • Demonstrates high degree of independent decisionmaking, selfdirection, motivation, change management knowledge and team building/leadership skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Permanent, Fulltime / 100% FTE / 75 Hours Biweekly
  • Up to 25% Travel Required

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $58.63 Hourly

This position is currently eligible for a Market Adjustment of approximately $XXX.XX biweekly. Eligibility for a Market Adjustment is reviewed periodically.
