Guidewire Claims Tester

Senior QA opportunity in the insurance industry with a focus on Guidewire Claims testing. Work on high-impact digital transformation initiatives using Guidewire PC, BC, and CM tools. Hybrid role based in Markham with 3 days on-site. Ideal for candidates with deep P&C insurance knowledge and testing expertise.

What is in it for you:



Salaried:
$58-63 per hour.


Incorporated Business Rate:
$67-72 per hour.


  • 10-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid model: 3 days per week on-site, subject to change.

Responsibilities:




  • Utilize Guidewire software to perform claims validations on insurance applications, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze test results, identify system bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, execution results, and summaries.
  • Use tools such as JIRA to track testing progress and report on QA outcomes.
What you will need to succeed:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Guidewire testing or related areas is an asset.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Guidewire claims validations.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CM).
  • Strong understanding of personal and commercial insurance applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations is considered a plus.
  • Flexibility required to support critical project timelines and deliverables.
