Description
Dragados Canada, Inc., the Canadian construction arm of the ACS Group (one of the world's largest international construction and engineering companies), is seeking a talented and experienced Recruiter to join its dynamic and energetic team.
Dragados Canada was established in 2008 and has grown steadily into an industry-leader in Canada, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, successfully performing a variety of large-scale transportation, bridge, dam, tunnel, and other major infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop job postings and post jobs on company's website and other external websites as needed
- Identify selection criteria and develop screening questions
- Proactively source talent and build talent pipelines
- Maintain applicant and interview data and offer metrics as required
- Assist with performing background checks
- Build and maintain brand awareness
- Attend university and college career fairs, and industry events as needed
- Collaborate with the team in order to improve the talent acquisition programs and the quality of talent entering the organization
- Participate in talent acquisition projects
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Human Resources or other related discipline
- CHRP designation would be considered an asset
- LinkedIn Recruiter Certification would be considered an asset
- Experience recruiting within the Construction or Engineering industries is preferred
- Strong knowledge of provincial and federal Employment laws, Human rights and Privacy legislation
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and Adobe
- Experience working with ATS's. Hands on experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in French will be considered an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence others
- Comfortable working within a very fast paced environments with changing and competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to be discreet and manage sensitive information
- Passionate team player with willingness to help other team members
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel throughout Canada if needed
