We are currently searching for a Mechanical Technologist in our Calgary office.

    Responsibilities will include design and drafting of process mechanical infrastructure (i.e., pumping systems, piping, water treatment systems) for a variety of industrial and municipal projects.

    The candidate for this role will also support the civil infrastructure components our projects, including earthworks and linear infrastructure. Construction inspection activities will be an important element of this role, including at construction sites outside the Calgary area.     Diploma in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent' from an accredited post-secondary institution.


    • 3+ years of progressive experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) of mechanical infrastructure, including pumping/piping systems and equipment.
    • Proficiency with latest versions of AutoCAD.
    • Familiarity with 3D design/building information modeling (BIM) using Revit OneBox or Revit MEP is an asset.
    • Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or Trimble SketchUp is an asset.
    • Familiarity with ANSI/ASME/AWWA piping codes and other applicable design codes and best practices is an asset.
    • Experience with design and drafting of process and building mechanical infrastructure, such as HVAC and plumbing is an asset.
    • Experience with design and drafting of civil infrastructure utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D is an asset.
    • Experience working for a consulting engineering firm is an asset, including multi-discipline design compliance with drafting standards and QA/QC procedures.
    • Field experiences is an asset.
