Job Purpose:


The Operations Manager will report directly to senior Operations leadership and interact with team members at every level of our business, from the CEO to frontline Guest Experience Members.

They will be a driven individual who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives, has a sharp eye for detail, and is a natural coordinator.

They will be a highly structured, analytical operator who is excited by the challenge of supporting the broad array of activities required to plan, run, monitor, and improve the operations of our two businesses, Lagree West and Jaybird.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with senior Operations leadership to create long-term business transformation plans as well as plans to deliver tactical initiatives.

  • Manage and run a wide array of business operations processes and reports related to, for example:
  • Monitoring studio costs, revenue, and utilization;
  • Updating, analyzing, and troubleshooting payroll;
  • Managing labour, wages, holiday plans, incentive plans, and benefits;
  • Onboarding and training new employees in companywide systems;
  • Updating guest fees, promotions, and discounts;
  • Monitoring and maintaining an adequate inventory of retail products and supplies;
  • Investigating guest service issues.
  • Analyze business operations and recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of daytoday operations.
  • Design and project manage the delivery of a diverse queue of process improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and quality parameters, and to budget.
  • Take a leading role in communicating with and coaching team members at all levels of the enterprise to ensure processes are followed as intended.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Project management experience with proven organizational skills and excellent time management
  • Process design and improvement experience
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Selfsufficiency and an ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:


  • Two or more years of experience in an operational or similar role
  • Proficiency in Notion a plus
  • Experience with Mariana Tek a plus
