Data Scientist

Project Overview:

• The incumbent will be tasked with analyzing telemetry data to pinpoint performance and service degradation across various domains including wireline, WiFi, IP Networks, video quality, and device performance (modems, gateways, and routers)

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a data scientist within the telecommunications sector.

• Proficiency in data science tools such as Azure (for data hosting), Data Bricks (for ETL/data processing), SQL (or Scala/Python), and PowerBI (or Tableau) for data visualization.

• Demonstrated self-starter mentality with the drive and motivation to delve deep into data, taking on a proactive role in identifying and solving issues within the dataset.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with a junior team, the successful candidate will spearhead data science initiatives. They will assume a proactive 'hunter' role, not only collating and organizing data but also conducting in-depth investigations to uncover trends of degradation across network platforms. This position demands a detective-like approach to identifying issues, with the responsibility to present findings to the managers.
