Timber Cruisers with opportunity to work out of
Salmon Arm, Kamloops or 100 Mile House locations, within the Interior of British Columbia.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an integral part of timber development, Timber Cruisers are responsible for forest development activities including the development of cruise plans, operational timber cruising, quality control and data summary.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Timber Cruisers and those interested in entering Forestry and will have support for continuous career development.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A safety conscious attitude;
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record; and
- Broad understanding of general forestry practices.
Bonus Skills to Highlight:
- Timber cruising experience;
- Postsecondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry;
- ATC or ATE accreditation or working towards becoming an ATC or ATE; and
- Registration with the ABCFP (or eligible for registration) as a professional forester (RPF) and/or forest technologist (RFT).

- Professional with a friendly and courteous manner, being service and team oriented;
- Able to work both independently under limited direct supervision as well as in a dynamic team environment;
- Effective problem solving with decision making skills.
