Administration/Bookkeeper
Parwood is a small business on a fast-growing trend, specialized in door components manufacturing & distribution, recycling, and integration of automation for equipment and machineries in production & manufacturing industry.
We are looking to expand our multi-cultural team by hiring new people promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the company.
Job Type:
Permanent Part-time/Full-time position
Administration/Bookkeeper Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Daily basis general data entry
- Basic bookkeeping
- Preparation and submission of all A/R and A/P related documents, statements, summaries and reports
- Set up new customer accounts and actively monitoring their accounts for any discrepancies
- Build relationship with every customer, for the efficient collection and resolution of any discrepancies
- Process customer payments in the system
- Support the monthend close process, by ensuring all related transactions are posted properly or following up with the ones that need fixing
- Updates warehouse inventory based on data provided by the shipper/receiver
- Welcome guests: clients, suppliers, couriers etc.
- Documents and general paperwork coordination, preparation, editing, and filing
- Coordinate office activities and facility operations, to secure efficiency, and adhesion to company policies
- Manage agendas and appointments for upper management
- Create, update and maintain records and database with personnel, financial/accounting and other processing data
- Track stocks of office/facility supplies and place orders when necessary
Working Hours and Salary:
Workdays/hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for Full-time. TBD for Part-time
Salary range:
$19-24/hour, based on experience. TBD at the time of interview

Administration/Bookkeeper Qualifications & Skills requirements:
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e. have a valid open Work Permit, be Permanent Residents of Canada or Canadian citizens), and reside in Canada at the time of employment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Office and bookkeeping experience is a MUST
- Bookkeeping software knowledge is an asset
- A/P and A/R specialist skills are considered a big advantage
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to multitask and manage tasks efficiently
- Able to make quick decisions to prioritize important tasks
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work within team settings, as well as independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed
- Ambitious, enthusiastic and enjoys working in a fastpaced environment
- Must have reliable transportation/commute options
- Willing to learn and expand knowledge, in order to take advantage of the opportunities given by the company's Internal Professionalgrowth Program.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Minimum education: Secondary School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum experience: 2 years Administration/Bookkeeping experience is a MUST
- Qualifications in secretarial studies or bookkeeping certificate is an asset
- BSc/BA in office administration, accounting or relevant field is a big advantage
