As a Team Lead, Application Support your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivate team members in methods to improve proficiency within the support processes, while creating a space where they can openly ask questions and voice their concerns.
  • Encourage the team to be proactive: Always being ahead of the client's needs, trying to identify issues and resolve them before they are detected.
  • Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes while providing productive performance feedback.
  • Assign tasks to team according to priority, while tracking the team's performance and identify ways to increase efficiency.
  • Facilitate and guide team adoption of firm standards and processes when delivering solutions/releases including unit testing, documentation and change management.
  • Identifying risks and form contingency plans to ensure projects and software releases/updates are successfully completed.
  • Writing progress reports and delivering presentations and briefings to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (engineering or information systems related field)
  • Lead and mentor a small team
  • Align business requirements and solutions with available software, keeping close attention to budget and return on investment (ROI)
  • Manage, recruit, and develop Application Support team
  • Ensure change management processes and procedures are followed by all team members
  • Experience with SCCM, SDLC, SQL Server, AWS, Azure and SaaS
  • Attention to detail and ability to function in a dynamic and demanding work environment
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and propose solutions
  • Ability to produce technical and functional documentation
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform unit testing based on scenarios
  • Aptitude for continuous learning
