Description

Duties:

Perform carpentry work in the construction, remodeling, and repair of structures
Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and materials needed
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, plywood, and other materials
Install cabinets, countertops, doors, windows, and other fixtures
Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures
Install drywall and insulation
Paint surfaces as needed
Operate CNC machines to fabricate custom woodwork
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians to complete projects

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
Ability to measure accurately and calculate dimensions
Familiarity with electrical work is a plus
Knowledge of mold remediation procedures is a plus
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
