Description

The Merchandiser contributes to the success of Bimbo Canada by
providing exceptional customer service to large accounts, such as large retail
stores. This includes merchandising products, rotation of products, display set up and maintenance, back-room storage organization and movement of product
from back room to the sales floor. This salary position works out of Collingwood. Typical work week consists of 35-40 hours.

Responsibilities

Merchandise store shelving, racks, and displays with commercial bread products in all assigned accounts
Utilize PointofSale materials in each account
Keep backroom stock in neat and orderly condition, ensure shelving cleanliness is maintained
Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers
Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
Complete required paperwork and processes in an accurate and timely manner
Follow the direction of the Merchandising Manager/Delivery Supervisor and/or Territory Sales Manager

Qualifications

Must be able to work early morning, typical start time is between 44:30am
Ability to work well in teams as well as independently and with mínimal supervision
Must be able to perform frequent physical activity
Must be able to work shifts and overtime as required
Demonstrated communication, time management, organizational skills
Possess a valid driver's license and daily access to a vehicle
Must own safety shoes
One (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred
