Admission Counselor who has the commitment and drive to help students achieve their dreams for our Toronto

JOB DUTIES
- Counsel prospective students regarding educational matters and/or potential challenges, such as program selection and schedules.
- Providing admission counsel based on personal and career goals through Skype, on the telephone and on the campus.
- Plan, manage and conduct recruitment and counseling activities for students.
- Facilitate admission presentations to prospective students.
- Preparing and reviewing acceptance letters and enrolment contract
- Receive incoming telephone calls from prospective clients, identify their needs, and arrange appointments on campus for a facetoface discussion/meeting.
- On occasion may have to respond to the need of counseling outside of the regularly scheduled working hours.
- Assist in student recruitment, retention and support activities such as open house information sessions and social events, develop and distribute newsletters and other information/promotional materials.
- Managing CRM database system
- Any other duties related to the counseling job requested by the college director
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 years of customer service experience; Exceptional customer service oriented abilities
- Prior experience and passion in Education industry is highly preferred
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a sales related position
- Selflearning and resourceful
- Strong organizational, communication and efficient time management abilities
- Highly goal driven with successful outcomes
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), CRM System, Adobe and Gmail Applications
- Strong research and selflearning abilities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required to explain policies, courses and procedures to students and a second language are an asset
- Strong multitask ability and great team member, work well under pressure to meet deadlines and targets.
Required education:
- Post Secondary Education and above
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
From $35,000.00 per year
