    This role will be key in mobilizing Thiess' first operational project in Ontario, but also integral in supporting the establishment of Thiess' new Country entry as it will be one of the first key hires in-Country and will have exposure and support from many functional subject matter experts across the Thiess Group.

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    We are searching for an experienced individual in the Talent Acquisition space who can be the first individual in to help build our P&C team for this region. In this position you will help identify and attract individuals who perfectly align with our values and culture at Thiess. This role is a crucial piece to our success

    We need someone who is passionate about recruitment, is excited to be in a role that will positively impact the company and our clients by identifying the right kind of talent while delivering world-class candidate experience.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple within the Project, from job requisition request to offer stage

    Identify and source qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social networks, and referrals

    Establish strong relationships and partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, and develop recruitment strategies

    Develop and maintain job descriptions and postings

    Build and maintain relationships with recruiting vendors, universities and other talent organizations as needed

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    Interview scheduling and coordination

    Ability to quickly learn new procedures and adapt to change

    Ability to multi-task, prioritize and track assigned tasks

    Experience coaching hiring managers and helping them develop strategic recruiting plans

    Experience working with all levels of a project organization

    Data driven, ability to produce and present recruitment metrics

    Proficient in the Microsoft enterprise platform Office packages including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum of 5 years full cycle recruiting in a corporate recruiting role

    Preference to a candidate who has experience in the mining industry

    Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) administration, Greenhouse experience an asset

    Know the local market, understand business strategy and priorities, and how to build and grow talent networks

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Familiarity with recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures, including all applicable legal regulations

    Proven problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

    Exhibit a high level of personal ownership and confidentiality

    Must be fluent in the English language

    Authorization to work lawfully in the Canada without sponsorship from Thiess is required

    EDUCATION

    Post Secondary Degree or Diploma within Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
