At Lost Boys | School of Visual Effects, we are a premier institution offering specialized training in Visual Effects for aspiring artists.

We are a close-knit community of fewer than ten staff and approximately 40 students, focused on imparting industry-standard knowledge and skills to create world-class visual effects professionals.

• Manage and optimize daily operations, ensuring a seamless learning experience for students and a conducive working environment for staff.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the school's mission and vision, and drive growth, development, and industry recognition.

• Manage the school's budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure the efficient utilization of resources.
• Coordinate staff and ensure they have the resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
• Oversee student services and activities; enhance student satisfaction by actively engaging with students, addressing concerns, and continually improving the quality of education and services.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, potential employers, alumni, and the broader community.
• Ensure and uphold compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
• Represent Lost Boys Studio at industry events and public meetings.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, Visual Arts or related field.
• Proven experience in leadership and management, preferably in a trade school or educational setting, creative industries, or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets effectively. Ability to make datadriven decisions.
• Knowledge of the visual effects industry, including trends, technologies, and the job market.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
• Understanding of educational legislation in Canada.
• Existing relationships within the visual effects industry are considered an asset.
• Bilingual in English and French is preferred.

• Salary Range: $70k $85k per year, overtime exempt Management
• Comprehensive Benefits Package
• Fulltime: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Hybrid
