- Provide technical assistance regarding environmental matters, particularly with respect to environmental risk, contamination, excess soil management, contamination claims, spill clean-up and environmental compliance throughout the organization, and communicate policies, procedures and applicable law;
- Manage environmental consultants including issuing RFPs, establishing budgets, coordinating field investigations and reporting;
- Review environmental/engineering documents and reports such as Phase I, II and III ESAs, geotechnical and hydrogeological reports, environmental monitoring reports, risk assessments, designated substance surveys, natural heritage studies; Support various development approvals by working with internal project team members and multi-disciplined consultant teams;
- Assist with the planning, delivery, and monitoring of various ESG initiatives;
- Maintain environmental and engineering inventories, databases and trackers;
- Assist with the corporate environmental insurance policies;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate/manage environmental risks;
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
