Your challenges:

The Electrical Maintenance Planner will plan future maintenance repairs using SAP.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with operating and maintenance personnel prioritizing planning projects into the future.
  • Review and approve work orders and address each work order from a prioritized list, create a bill of materials, parts lists and job templates and procedures as required.
  • Source parts and services from vendors and suppliers and assign labour hours including collaboration with contractors to ensure the work is completed.
  • Develop job packages that include work orders, material sheets, safety references and feedback reports.
  • Ensure compliance to internal and external policies, procedures and regulations and to assist external auditors such as the TSSA, insurance companies, and / or other groups as required.
  • You are required to ensure compliance to internal and external policies, procedures and regulations with respect to health and safety.

Your profile:


  • Electrical engineering diploma or degree or an electrical trade certificate preferred, coupled with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an industrialized manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required, including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment.
  • Proficient analytical skills required as well as a strong background in MS Office, MS Project. Experience using SAP would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance priorities that meet short and longterm objectives; uses organized and efficient work methods.
