Your challenges:

The Electrical Maintenance Planner will plan future maintenance repairs using SAP.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with operating and maintenance personnel prioritizing planning projects into the future.
Review and approve work orders and address each work order from a prioritized list, create a bill of materials, parts lists and job templates and procedures as required.
Source parts and services from vendors and suppliers and assign labour hours including collaboration with contractors to ensure the work is completed.
Develop job packages that include work orders, material sheets, safety references and feedback reports.
Ensure compliance to internal and external policies, procedures and regulations and to assist external auditors such as the TSSA, insurance companies, and / or other groups as required.
You are required to ensure compliance to internal and external policies, procedures and regulations with respect to health and safety.

Your profile:

Electrical engineering diploma or degree or an electrical trade certificate preferred, coupled with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an industrialized manufacturing setting.
Excellent interpersonal skills required, including an ability to work collaboratively within a fast paced and structured environment.
Proficient analytical skills required as well as a strong background in MS Office, MS Project. Experience using SAP would be an asset.
Demonstrated ability to balance priorities that meet short and longterm objectives; uses organized and efficient work methods.
