Job summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the design implementation of electrical distribution systems In this supervisor role you will lead our Distribution Design group ensuring technical integrity compliance with established policies standards What You ll Do Project Management Coordination Plan schedule organize supervise electrical distribution system projects including budget detailed estimates design approvals liaising internal departments external authorities contractors customers Coordinate participate site plan reviews anticipate challenges hydro servicing requirements new developments redevelopments Ensure project designs completed within lead times capital budgets KPI requirements Monitor project costs versus estimates review variance reports team Leadership Team Development Supervise design all capital projects providing coaching development performance management technical guidance Plan organize supervise daily activities operational unit Provide input departmental goals objectives leading participating department projects initiatives Continuous Improvement Compliance Conduct process reviews improve design/build cycle industry best practices Research recommend implement new policies procedures processes enhance operational effectiveness Ensure compliance legislative regulatory Health Safety policies procedures standards Prepare annual departmental budgets quarterly forecasts reviewing project statuses preparing reports senior management Respond deficiencies identified Electrical Safety Authority developing prioritizing action plans
