A DAY IN THE LIFE:
It is an office job with limited patient interaction. Every day will provide opportunities for new learning and allow for creative solutions.


THE ROLE:

• Completion of Insurance and Medical Legal reporting
• Receive and process payments for services
• Complete monthly cash balances/reconciliation
• Assist with medical research and reporting
• Assist in Blended Capitation process
• Project a positive image at all times

EDUCATION:

- a diploma or degree from a recognized post secondary institution for Medical Office Assistant.


EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of3 5 years' as an office MOA
• Working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR-Accuro); previous experience is essential
• A true understanding of privacy in healthcare.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

• High level of commitment to customer service with excellent listening and verbal skills.
• Ability to work as part of the team to obtain details, which will then convert to independent work in order complete project deadlines.

Job Location:

• Spruce Grove, AB

Salary:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour
