- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and act is a safe manner at all times to ensure the Health and Safety of the work environment;
- Ensure proper operation of equipment and loading/unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;
- Operates and drives service equipment and assists with job site preparation;
- Rigging equipment in and out;
- Clean and maintain equipment and ensure equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order;
- Properly complete paper documentation for the job, including pre/post trips;
- Maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecards, trip reports and vehicle inspection reports
- Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
- Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers and supervisors
- Class 3 license is required;
- Regulatory safety tickets are considered an asset (e.g. First Aid with CPR, H2S, Confined Space Entry); will provide training
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team and in a safety focused environment;
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;
- Willingness to travel is considered an asset
