POSITION:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic
Summer Student to assist the
Construction, Delivery and Customization Coordinator.

The student will participate in the conceptual development of construction projects and collaborate in their organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Projects must be managed cross-sectorally and in multiple geographic areas/locations as the Project Director requires.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the real estate industry and
develop their skills while learning from industry professionals in a dynamic and growing real estate development company.

This temporary position will take place during the summer, with an anticipated start date in May and an anticipated end date in August.

As a summer student, you will be considered a
potential future employee within our growing company. We will provide you with the training and knowledge necessary to succeed. You will receive valuable exposure to various professional services that offer a challenging career path. The student reports to the Coordinator of Construction, Delivery and Customization.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

-
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, both internally and externally;
-
Assist the Project Coordinator and Construction Manager in site meetings and inspections;
-
Ensure effective and accurate communication of relevant project information to the project team;
-
Coordinate the issuance of contracts, letters of intent, purchase orders, etc.;
-
Ensure quality and procurement of furniture and equipment;

  • Develop lists of deficiencies and
    arrange for their correction;
  • Follow up on the deficiency list to
    ensure that they have been corrected;
-
Plan, organize, or direct activities related to the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, buildings, and/or units;
-
Contact and supervise craft work, such as painting, plumbing, ventilation or electrical, etc. (all interior finishing media);
-
Interact closely with the property management team, including after-sales service, and assist in the resolution and closure of issued cases;

  • Take ownership of
    all projects delegated to you;
-
Collaborate with the team to assist with other projects;

  • Any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

-
Currently enrolled in a college or bachelor's degree program in engineering, property management, interior design or related field;
-
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
-
Knowledge of cloud-based data access and sharing software, as well as computer-aided design (CAD) and document management software;

  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
-
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while managing priorities and working with tight deadlines;
-
Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving market;

  • Team player and
    attention to detail;
-
Integrity, reliability, entrepreneurship and initiative;

  • Excellent communication skills in
    French and English;
  • Sales, solution and performanceoriented;
  • Must be available
    to work fulltime (Monday to Friday).
