Pickering Casino Resort is seeking one (1) Guest Services Supervisor


Under the general direction of the Guest Services Manager, this position is responsible for fostering a safe and efficient work environment, while maintaining an open-door policy.

You will be accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and developing them.

You will be involved in planning and executing site promotions with the Guest Services Manage and your strong organizational skills will allow for balancing multiple responsibilities in operational demands and employee engagement.

Above all else, this position must lead by example to create Great Experiences and Memories for all guests and colleagues

  • Supervise a team of player services representatives fostering a safe and efficient work environment;
  • Assisting with the hiring, training, evaluating, recognition, and development of your staff;
  • Assist with planning and execution of site promotions as required;
  • Adheres to all AGCO, GCGC, departmental and HR policies as they relate to functions of the role;
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • A post-secondary diploma in Marketing or a Business-related discipline
  • A minimum of two (2) years of special events coordinator and/or public relations experience
  • A minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in the service industry
  • Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be peoplefocused, professional and committed to service excellence;
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service and communication skills;
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees and management as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment;
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
