    Glen Avon School requires a full-time Educational Assistant to commence April 2, 2024, to June 26, 2024.

    Glen Avon School, located in St. Paul, AB, is a Grade K-9 school with approximately 420 students.

    The assignment includes working with an elementary child with severe special needs and the successful candidate will be responsible to provide support for behavioural and communication challenges. Specialized training and/or related work experience with autism would be considered an asset, as would Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification. The individual must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. The ability to adhere to a carefully constructed behavior plan and accept feedback and direction is extremely important.
