CADTH is Canada's drug and health technology agency. We're a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Ottawa, with a satellite office in Toronto.

We're funded by Canada's federal, provincial, and territorial governments, with the exception of Quebec, to provide independent information and advice to the country's publicly funded health care systems.

Health administrators and policy experts rely on CADTH to inform their decisions about the funding and appropriate use of the drugs, devices, and services used to prevent, diagnose, and treat medical conditions.

Primary Focus

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating projects, which includes developing and maintaining schedules and milestones and monitoring timelines, to achieve project objectives within given constraints.

On any given day, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for:
Project Coordination

  • Work with the Evidence, Products and Services Business Unit to develop project schedules and milestones for smaller projects.
  • Track pending submissions and assess for completeness by established guidelines.
  • Coordinate meetings and lead followup with participants as well as partners and customers to ensure deliverables are on time.
  • Accurately complete data entry on assigned projects to ensure the quality of CADTH data and format technical documents to ensure compliance with templates and document management principles (i.e., redaction and security).
  • Work with the Evidence, Products and Services Business Unit to coordinate external resourcing, which may include expert and contracting support, as required.
Reporting and Communication

  • Work with the Evidence, Products and Services team to support preparing timely, accurate reports on pending submissions, project status (including closeout), resource capacity, budget, and other metrics for CADTH leadership to support forecasting and resource planning.
  • Support document management and distribute project material to internal and external partners, which includes coordinating with the publishing team.
  • Prepare and send final reports and perform project closeout activities.
  • Support the project manager by updating project schedules and milestones for projects.
  • Support CADTH committees and working groups by overseeing preparing, finalizing, and posting committee meeting briefs and documents.
  • Document, maintain, and update CADTH project coordination processes in collaboration with the Evidence, Products and Services team, employees, and partners to ensure best practices and quality indicators are followed. This includes operationalizing new program processes and contributing to the ongoing evolution and process improvement of project workflows by identifying areas for continuous improvement.
