Job summary
The UNBF Student Accessibility Centre (SAC) exists to provide services and resources to support the success of students with disability-related needs during their time of study at UNB. SAC in partnership with the faculty, staff, and students of UNB strives to provide support, ensure equal opportunity, and create an accessible, inclusive community for UNB students.Reporting to the Director, the Assistive Technologist ensures equitable access and support for students, faculty, and staff who rely on assistive technology (AT) to learn, teach ,and work effectively.
- Evaluate assess make recommendations on specific hardware software devices based on individual needs
- Collaborate with accessibility advisors primary health care providers ,faculty or supervisors integrate technology into accommodation plans
