Maintenance Person - Ottawa


Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and address their concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Insures properties a clean and upkept properly.
• Installs floorings, paints, and repairs drywalls.
• Fabricate and install fixtures, equipment, and furniture as needed.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• May need to move heavy furniture or equipment.

Qualifications ad requirements:

• Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.

• Customer serviceoriented with good communication skills.
• Leadership skills to supervise and coordinate the work of contractors.
• Needs a car and valid driver's license to drive between properties.

full time Monday to Friday, on call nights and weekends on a rotating schedule
