ABOUT THE ROLE


We are in search of an Information Security Analyst to join our Information Security team, starting with a
6 month contract. You will manage governance, risk management, and compliance activities linked to information security.

Your role will involve broadening Ada's current certifications and compliance efforts to better serve the North American region.

You will collaborate closely with the Information Security team and other stakeholders throughout the organization to pinpoint, evaluate, and handle risks and requirements related to relevant regulations, standards, and contracts.

Your responsibilities will also include taking part in audits and promoting positive changes in Ada's processes.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Identify, record, and implement requirements from business-relevant regulations, standards, and contracts
  • Oversee information security risk management activities
  • Oversee information supplier management activities
  • Oversee information security internal auditing activities
  • Handle identified risks
  • Handle audit findings remediation
  • Implement and manage pertinent information security policies, procedures, and guidelines

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Industry experience in governance, risk management, supplier management, and compliance aspects of information security
  • Knowledge of North American security standards and regulations (e.g. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA / HITECH / HITRUST CSF, PHIPA/PIPEDA)
  • Experience and/or training in information security audit execution (internal or external)
  • Strong analytical abilities and experience in conducting gap analyses
  • Open-mindedness, willingness to learn and grow
  • Dedication to quality
  • Appreciation for diverse viewpoints
  • Basic understanding of software development and a technology background
  • Basic understanding of networking and cloud computing
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
