About Us
We are a rapidly growing disaster restoration company specializing in water damage, fire restoration, mold remediation, emergency mitigation, and reconstruction services. We work with property managers, insurance adjusters, strata corporations, commercial facilities, and homeowners to restore properties efficiently and professionally.
As we continue expanding, we are seeking a high-performing Project Manager & Business Development Lead who can both manage restoration projects and actively grow strategic relationships.
This is a leadership-level role combining operations excellence and revenue growth.
Position Overview
The Project Manager & Business Development Lead is responsible for:
- Managing restoration projects from emergency response through completion
- Ensuring quality control, profitability, and client satisfaction
- Developing and maintaining referral relationships
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
This role requires strong field experience, leadership ability, and a proactive sales mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Oversee emergency mitigation and reconstruction projects
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Develop scopes of work and budgets
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Communicate with property managers, strata councils, insurers, and homeowners
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and compliance with industry standards (IICRC, safety regulations)
- Monitor job costing and project profitability
Business Development
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Property management firms
- Insurance adjusters and brokers
- Strata corporations
- Commercial property owners
- Construction partners
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and lunch-and-learns
- Generate new leads and convert opportunities into active projects
- Expand additional services within existing accounts
- Track outreach and pipeline activity using CRM
Strategic Growth & Leadership
- Identify market opportunities and growth verticals
- Support marketing campaigns and referral programs
- Contribute to operational process improvements
- Mentor team members and promote accountability
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in restoration project management (water, fire, mold, reconstruction)
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with Xactimate and CRM systems preferred
- Valid driver's license
