Outside Sales Representative - Canada - 3 Step Recruitment Inc.

Our client, a leader in the industrial pipe, valve and fitting distribution industry is currently looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative for their office and warehouse in Dorval, Quebec. This position requires the following development, servicing, and maintenance of current accounts, seeking new accounts and meeting sales targets. To be successful in this position the following skills sets, and experience are required: Ability to resolve customer/client issues and consult with inside sales, credit and warehouse, high degree of people skills and negotiation skills.

• Cultivate relationships with key decision makers via calls and events.
• Address customer concerns by collaborating with internal teams.
• Strategize follow-ups for projects and ongoing sales.
• Achieve sales targets and provide accurate forecasts.
• Engage with customers for service and conflict resolution.
• Foster enduring client relationships.
• Strategically plan territories to optimize sales routes.
• Identify and onboard new customer accounts.
• Monitor customer credit and report anomalies.
• Engage in sales events and exhibitions.
• Assist with order processing as needed.
• Stay up to date oncompany product updates and generate reports when necessary.

• Minimum 4 years of sales experience in mechanical/industrial field.
• Proven business development skills.
• College Diploma in Sales/Marketing or related field required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel daily/overnight.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required for travel within and outside Canada.
