Location:
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform contact crimping and wire pull tests;
- Terminate connectors (D-Sub/Circular/Coaxial);
- Prepare cables and wires;
- Make harnesses;
- Integrate/Terminate harnesses in electronic modules, antennas and payloads;
- Proceed with the mechanical assembly of connectors and "backshell" connections;
- Weld or install mechanical points according to specifications;
- Tin components;
- Develop and build accurate models;
- Prepare, handle and use polymer products for bonding components;
- Inspect, verify and validate the compliance of certain tasks performed by colleagues;
- Support research and development.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- DEC or DEP in the field of mechanics, or electromechanics, or electronics, aeronautical or equivalent;
- Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant experience;
- Basic knowledge of the principle of tolerances and geometric dimensions;
- Knowledge of IPC-A620 standards;
- Ability to retrieve and enter data using a computer system;
- Use of production databases;
- Good knowledge of French. Basic knowledge of English will be an asset.
