SUMMARY

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to.
Plan and oversee the endtoend delivery of assigned projects.
Organize and supervise foreman and electricians to meet project goals, timelines and performance expectations in an effective and efficient manner.
Collaborate with project stakeholders; define project scope, deliverables and requirements.
Manage costs, risk management and quality control of projects.
Determine resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.
Identify project risks, develop, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
Prepare change orders with changes to scope of work.
Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders. This includes site visits to communicate with GCs, mechanical contractors, site supers and other forepersons
Provide labour and material estimates for new projects.
Prepare accurate project proposals and estimates and follow up on quoted work.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients.
Responsible for resolving issues, managing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction.
Ensure projects and estimates are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

3+ years' experience in Building Automation (BAU) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) technology in construction industry
510 Years electrical experience in a construction, retro fit environment.
Strong knowledge of building electrical, and mechanical systems
Solid knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Great attitude with a desire to exceed customer expectations.
Must have excellent conflict resolution, problem solving and analytical skills.
Able to work in a fastpaced environment with strict deadlines. Valid drivers licence.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

Journeyperson Electrician license 309A. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or working toward.
