SUMMARY

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure health and safety practices are adhered to.
  • Plan and oversee the endtoend delivery of assigned projects.
  • Organize and supervise foreman and electricians to meet project goals, timelines and performance expectations in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders; define project scope, deliverables and requirements.
  • Manage costs, risk management and quality control of projects.
  • Determine resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.
  • Identify project risks, develop, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Prepare change orders with changes to scope of work.
  • Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders. This includes site visits to communicate with GCs, mechanical contractors, site supers and other forepersons
  • Provide labour and material estimates for new projects.
  • Prepare accurate project proposals and estimates and follow up on quoted work.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients.
  • Responsible for resolving issues, managing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ensure projects and estimates are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

  • 3+ years' experience in Building Automation (BAU) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) technology in construction industry
  • 510 Years electrical experience in a construction, retro fit environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Solid knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Great attitude with a desire to exceed customer expectations.
  • Must have excellent conflict resolution, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment with strict deadlines. Valid drivers licence.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

  • Journeyperson Electrician license 309A. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or working toward.
