    Position Overview:
    Our client, an independently owned leading global investment firm, is looking for a Corporate Accounting Analyst. As a valued member of the Corporate Accounting team, you will report directly to the Manager, Corporate Accounting. Your primary responsibility will encompass a broad range of day-to-day tasks crucial for supporting the department's operations. This includes corporate reporting, managing accounts payable, and other vital accounting functions.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy and authorization of received invoices.
  • Maintain meticulous records of accounts payable and process payments promptly.
  • Facilitate electronic outgoing wires and EFT payments.
  • Manage vendor information within the accounting system (Multiview).
  • Verify and process expense reports with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Record receivables accurately and within established timelines.
  • Conduct weekly bank reconciliations and monitor account activity.
  • Generate and analyze various reports for management purposes.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements and management reports.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • A post-secondary degree in Accounting.
  • Currently holds or is working towards an Accounting Designation.
  • 3+ years experience in a corporate Accounting setting.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using Multiview or similar accounting software is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with accounting theory and a keen interest in the Canadian mutual fund industry is preferred.
