We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Nuclear Infrastructure Construction to lead the delivery of complex, multi-discipline construction work within Ontario's nuclear energy program.

This role operates in a highly regulated, safety- and security-sensitive environment and is accountable for the full lifecycle of project delivery, from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out.

Reporting to senior operations leadership, the Project Manager provides strong field leadership while ensuring rigorous adherence to safety, quality, regulatory, and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover.
  

• Accountable for scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, security, and overall project risk
  

• Serve as the primary point of contact with construction management and owner representatives
  

• Provide consistent site leadership with active field presence
  

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  

• Maintain disciplined project controls, reporting accuracy, and recovery planning
  

• Proactively manage risks, change management, and schedule impacts
  

• Coordinate multi-trade construction activities across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and security-related scopes
  

• Manage subcontractors in a unionized environment, ensuring productivity, compliance, and schedule adherence
  

• Oversee inspections, testing, and construction execution to support commissioning and turnover
  

• Manage contract execution, commercial compliance, and change management processes
  

• Maintain financial visibility through accurate forecasting and cost tracking
  

• Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements, quality assurance programs, and site security protocols
  

• Oversee project documentation, inspection and test records, and as-built deliverables
  

• Reinforce a Safety-First culture through effective planning, hazard assessment, and field leadership
  

• Drive quality compliance with a "build it right the first time" mindset
  

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager delivering complex construction projects

Proven experience managing large-scale or technically complex construction work

Experience in nuclear, power generation, or other regulated/high-security environments

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, multi-trade coordination, and commissioning

Demonstrated strength in scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and reporting

Industrial or infrastructure general contracting experience

Familiarity with quality assurance programs and controlled documentation environments

Experience working with unionized labour considered an asset

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Ability to work site-based during active construction phases

Must be eligible to obtain nuclear site security clearance
