Overview:
Match Retail is seeking a Merchandiser for our client Nespresso in the Ontario East region.

Working closely with the Nespresso's team, the Merchandiser will ensure displays are stocked, cleaned, organized, and accessible to elevate the customers' shopping experience in various retail point of sales.

This position is a full-time contract starting June 2023 until June 2024 with the possibility of extension.


Responsibilities:


What you will be doing:


  • Directly interact with store key contacts to discuss inventory levels, current and future promotions, display opportunities and marketing placement opportunities.
  • Work directly with RSM on durable and nondurable marketing placements
  • Develop a plan in conjunction with the RSM to grow machine sales within the region on a storebystore level
  • Train at store level with key contacts and sales associates to better support Nespresso brand knowledge and machine sales in store.
  • Support promotion set up & teardown
  • Build and maintain displays as inventory allows
  • Place display machines, where applicable, with individual stores
  • Ordering nondurable promotional and marketing material in partnership with RSM
  • Cleaning and set up of section (ensuring right products are at the right place, moving boxes around, picking up boxes in back store to fill section, ensuring price tags are available & visible)
  • Swapping and ordering of winsets
  • Ensuring that necessary tools are placed in tasting station (masks, coffee, etc.)
  • Maintain storage locker inventory consisting of machine parts, display machines, promotional material, marketing materials in partnership with RSM

Qualifications:

What we are looking for:

  • 1-3 years' experience in merchandising or sales in fast moving consumer or luxury goods
  • Secondary V or Technical College completed
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car required
  • Strong customer focus and ability to foster lasting relationships and convey brand messages.
  • Good problem solving and time management skills
  • Detailoriented, reliable, and friendly
  • Ability to selfmanage remotely
  • Detailed knowledge with Window Environment (Excel, Word, PP)
  • Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload pictures and fill out daily reports
  • Some physical labor required (up to 50lbs)
  • Must be willing to travel all stores within their territory

Ontario East:
ON East and ON Central regions(temporary) including but not limited to Toronto, Richmond Hill, Markham, Aurora, Bowmansville, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa


Additional details:


  • This is a fulltime contractual position from June, 2023, until June 2024 with a schedule of 9am5pm from Monday
  • Friday
- $21/hr + km allocation + cellphone allocation + 2 weeks vacation
