POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Installation and servicing of wireless internet to residential and business customers
  • Perform all installation functions associated with the addition, modification and removal of all technology equipment, hardware, testing, drilling and running cabling, terminate network Indoor and Outdoor Ethernet cable into RJ45 ends
  • Program and provision CPE (Customer Premise Equipment)
  • Assess and troubleshoot equipment on site and/or over the phone
  • Comfortable working safely at heights due to extensive ladder work, manlift work, tower climbing, (up to 100 ft freestanding towers) and working on roofs
  • Accurately complete work orders and process payments
  • Available to work overtime and after hours as needed
  • Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:


  • 2 year previous experience in technical related fields
  • CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ certification would be preferred.
  • Must be able to tow trailers
  • Operate power tools skillfully
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with a positive approach to customer service
  • Well organized with good time management skills
  • Ability to work in fastpaced environment and adapt to new technology/industry changes
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school diploma
  • Postsecondary education preferred
  • Safety Certifications: Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platforms
  • A valid Gclass driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • Must be willing to provide Criminal Reference Check upon conditional offer

PPE REQUIREMENTS

  • Safety shoes
  • Hard hat
