    About the role:

    As the Operations Manager at Million Dollar Sellers (MDS), you will be the linchpin in streamlining and optimizing our diverse operational functions. Your role involves orchestrating our technological frameworks, enhancing human resources processes, and ensuring fiscal and legal compliance, collaborating closely with department leads. You'll be pivotal in fostering operational efficiency and culture, directly impacting the growth and success of our e-commerce community. This is an opportunity for a dynamic, strategic thinker to drive meaningful change in a fast-paced, innovative environment.


    This is a Full-time Remote position.

    Requirements:

    • Technical Proficiency and Operations Management: Proven experience in overseeing operational systems, particularly those involving technology infrastructure, software tools, and data management. Experience in community or people management is a plus.
    • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional qualifications in operations or technology management are advantageous.
    • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, essential for coordinating with diverse teams and effectively conveying information across various departments.
    • Strategic Leadership and Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong relationships, both internally and externally, to foster a collaborative working environment.
    • Advanced Proficiency in Digital Tools: Skilled in using advanced project management software, CRM tools, and other relevant digital platforms to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
    • Independent Initiative and Team Collaboration: Capable of working independently with a proactive approach, while also collaborating effectively within a team setting. Demonstrated skills in organizational and management abilities.
    • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to travel as required for business, operational, and industry events. Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and environments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Operational Systems Management: Oversee and enhance all operational systems, including technology infrastructure, software tools, APIs, databases, and data collection processes. Ensure these systems support the organization's needs effectively and efficiently.
    • Technical Team Leadership: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of technological operations, from mobile and web platforms to backend infrastructure.
    • Human Resources Process Management: Streamline HR processes such as onboarding, recruitment, employee reviews, and team satisfaction assessments. Ensure a productive and positive work environment for all team members.
    • Financial and Legal Oversight: Manage the organization's bookkeeping and accounting practices to track performance, set budgets, and ensure fiscal success. Oversee legal matters to protect the entity and maximize its value.
    • Content Management and Program Development: Supervise the creation and management of content, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals. Lead initiatives for member engagement and retention, adapting and creating programs as needed.
    • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans across operational domains, aligning with the organization's long-term vision and immediate goals.
    • Performance Metrics and KPI Oversight: Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators for operational success, ensuring continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
    • Standardization and SOP Development: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all operational activities, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
    • Innovative Problem Solving: Apply innovative solutions to operational challenges, improving the organization's overall efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting: Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to represent the organization's operational interests and achievements. Provide regular, detailed reports on operational activities and outcomes to the leadership team.
