***: The OPS Coordinator will monitor the Daily and near-term (7 days) future operations to maintain and coordinate commercial operational control of the aircraft and crews assigned to the Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay
Bases. This position will work in collaboration with all company departments to provide a safe, efficient, and profitable operations.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • ALL Duties applicable to scheduled/ Charter passenger operations
  • Plan day to day operations
- *update/ implement within company aviation management software
- *receive/action notification of network inventory bottlenecks/ payload issues
- *Ensure aircraft assignments match / configure and booking levels

  • Monitor Crew Assignments to ensure flight (scheduled and Charter) coverage
  • Develop/Implement/Coordinate/Manage IROP plans, following Ops Duty Office/
    SOCC Manager approval
  • Operational preplanning/ fleet control assignment of aircraft according to MTC requirements
  • Continuously monitor network status, project flight delays to future operations
- *Adjust assignments to minimize impact to passengers/ customers
- *Adjust assignments to maintain crew legality of operations

  • Coordinate station services for schedule operations (regular/ADHOC operations)
  • Coordinate passenger charter details (e.g., ATW/BTW handling, catering, crew services
(accommodations/transportation?

  • Coordinate flight ADHOC documentation (e.g., ASAP charts for offline stations)
  • Activate company Emergency Response Plan as necessary
  • Monitor advance booking levels on scheduled operations
- *Propose additional capacity allocation to OPS Duty Officer/
SOCC Manager to meet future demands

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 34 years previous airline Operations experience or an equivalent combination of related postsecondary education and work experience

SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Must be a selfstarter with proven ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Flexible, able to work under pressure and deal with change
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments and customers
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Effective attention to detail and high degree in accuracy
  • Excellent multitasking, problem solving and organizational skills

ASSETS:


  • Ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:


  • Ability to lift or move up to 10 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity required to us desktop computers and peripherals
  • Shift work is required
  • Overtime as requested
  • Weekend work is required
  • Travel may be required
  • Completion of a satisfactory criminal record check
