    Opportunity at a Glance
    The Associate Director (AD) of Student and University Partnerships is the key colleague that establishes and develops partnerships with area colleges, universities and other organizations to promote our medical and veterinary programs at the American University of the Caribbean, Ross University School of Medicine, and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. The AD is responsible for building the prospective student/applicant pipeline and for raising brand awareness. Each AD has a territory of multiple states or provinces with complete and independent accountability for inquiry generation and developing relationships with feeder pre-health/pre-vet programs to build market awareness and trust. The AD is the primary inquiry-generating position for all Adtalem Health Brands and directly impacts the enrollment and profitability of the institution. In addition, the AD supports the Regional Director in training and development of the Regional team. The AD works remotely 100% of the time and travels up to 80% of the time, representing our schools at campuses and recruiting events throughout their region. AD's interact daily with science Ph.D. faculty, chairs, and deans across the country. This unique role encompasses promotion, outreach, field marketing, partnership development and education while representing a conglomerate of fast-growing leaders in medical and veterinary education. In partnership with our internal admissions and marketing teams, you will cultivate strong relationships with institutional leaders to develop strategic opportunities for growth of our MD, DVM, PhD, and other post-graduate programs. Exceptional presentation and relationship management skills are necessary to represent multiple institutions at a variety of engagements, including postgraduate fairs, special-interest groups, orientations, graduations, "lunch and learns" and other meetings/events.

    Responsibilities

    • Procure new organizational contracts with colleges and Universities and maintain current relationships.
    • Travel regionally to meet with current and prospective partners to further develop partnerships and increase awareness of the Adtalem Medical and Vet institutions and outcomes.
    • Delivers inquiry-generating presentations at select partners, including designing and delivering virtual presentations for each institution.
    • Develops and maintains a virtual event series to engage prospective students and support institutional inquiry goals and increase brand awareness and consideration.
    • Responsiveness and collaboration is critical to success. The SR AD ensures inquiries are delivered to our Admissions team; Has a strong sense of ownership of the process and provides high-quality prospects directly to the institutions' admissions teams.
    • In partnership with the SR Director of SUP and RD's, the AD negotiates new and revised partnership agreements with organizational partners that benefit our institutions.
    • Plan and attend events with partners and prospective students such as brand awareness and informational events and trade shows in the medical and veterinary industry to market programs and develop awareness and inquiries.
    • As an AD, additional leadership responsibilities include interviewing, training and developing other team members as needed. This would involve one-on-one training/development sessions, suggesting development plans along with talent management initiatives.
    • Supports Regional Director with peer-observations and feedback, where asked.
    • Takes on additional territory assignments as needed.
    • Recommends changes in procedures to improve effectiveness of the Student and University Partnership Team
    • Completes other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    • Fluent in French required
    • Bachelor's Degree in business required or other directly relevant discipline required
    • 5 years of successful sales or field marketing experience required
    • Experience in the higher education industry and advanced degree preferred
    • Proven ability to establish strong relationships with customers, preferably within education. Motivated, ambitious and energetic, with a service mindset and capable of strategic, logical thought
    • Strong communication skills, both verbally and as a writer
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Must have a valid passport, a valid driver's license, reliable and appropriate transportation, a clear driving record and a flexible schedule as weekend travel is required.
    • Motivation to achieve success and meet inquiry goals as outlined by the Senior Director and institutional leaders.
    • Flexible and adaptable, recognized as a team player who enjoys collaboration and sharing successes.
    • Computer proficiency utilizing MS Office, database proficiency required.
    • Willingness to travel 50-80% of the time; demonstrated ability to work remotely as necessary.
