They are looking to add a Environmental Engineer to their Greater Toronto Area operations.     The Environmental engineer will play a key role in the expansion of the company in Canada. This role will combine substantial technical expertise in Water and Wastewater project management.

    What you will do in the role:
  • Acting as a project engineer for water and wastewater projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and other municipalities in Ontario, overseeing investigations, operational troubleshooting, analysis, process engineering design, technology assessment, and leading the preparation of technical memoranda and reports.
  • Functioning as a process engineer to contribute to process and/or process mechanical and/or hydraulic design and providing support during the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with the Ontario team members of the corporate sales and marketing team to offer input into budget preparation, as well as liaising with clients to promote business development, enhance reputation, and foster relationships with municipal clients in the GTA and Ontario's water sector.
  • Engaging in relevant professional societies within the industry.
    Working alongside multidisciplinary team members to gather, consolidate, and coordinate technical information to support projects and proposals.
  • Supervising, offering technical guidance to, and mentoring engineering and technical staff to improve water services capabilities in Ontario.

  • What you will bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Professional engineering (P.Eng.) license.
  • 7 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in spearheading and finalizing technical, process, and design tasks for water projects
  • Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Capable of directly engaging with clients to address their needs and requirements
  • Experienced in undertaking projects for municipal clients within the Greater Toronto Area market.
  • Well-versed in business development activities, encompassing the preparation of proposal scopes and resource requirements tailored to municipal clients.
  • Proficient in utilizing personal computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and scheduling software such as MS Project.
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities to effectively manage and prioritize workload demands.
