We are searching for a
Purchasing Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for coordinating our organizations purchasing activities.

Your Responsibilities & Qualifications

As a member of procurement team, you will work closely with internal multidisciplinary teams to identify the purchasing needs and demand of the organization and managing supplier relationships including negotiating purchase terms, evaluating supplier performance and ensuring timely product delivery.

You will.
- understand the organization's purchasing needs and demands
- research and identify prospective suppliers
- evaluate products and suppliers based on key business criteria
- prepare proposals, request quotes, negotiate purchase terms and conditions, quality and delivery times
- prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
- monitor supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns
- inspect and evaluate the quality of orders, resolving shortcomings and quality concerns
- monitor industry and demand trends and recommend sourcing strategies to management
- preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records
- follow all applicable corporate policies and procedures

Your education, skills and experiences will consist of:

minimum 3-5 years of experience in a purchasing role within a manufacturing environment

- proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, ERP systems
- strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills to build solid supplier relationships
- an analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills
- proven ability to work in a high-paced environment requiring multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills
- a team player with the proven ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization
