Abbotsford regional hospital has a growing and expanding department of medicine, with recent introduction of internal medicine unit, run by GIM MRP group.

There are also robust internal medicine subspecialty groups, including nephrology, neurology and cardiology, in addition to gastroenterology and infectious diseases services.
