Position Summary
Technicut Tool (TCT), a CMT company, is seeking a
CNC Lathe Machinist
for our Windsor, Ontario

This position works Monday thru Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. The pay range for this position is between $ $31.00 per hour depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform simple setups and operate CNC lathe machines under supervision.
  • Perform and record first article inspections of parts.
  • Create and edit machine programs (familiarity with Mazak/Fanuc a plus).
  • Maintain control of manufacturing documentation (example: Planning, drawings, sketches, specifications, setup sheets, etc.).

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • High School/GED or equivalent education.
  • 3+ years of machine shop experience or a combination of work experience and vocational training is required.
  • Prior experience with Mazak/Fanuc/DMG machines is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
  • Ability to produce precision work.
