    Accountability
  • The Scheduling Coordinator will support the scheduling process within the organization by contributing to the creation, supervision, and upkeep of the schedule for the ONxpress Operations team during the mobilization phase, as part of the GO Expansion – On-Corridor Works package (9 Months Contract) .
  • The Scheduling Coordinator, based in Toronto, and will drive collaboration and continuous improvement while working with all cross-functional teams within ONxpress Operations Inc., and with our project partners for common requirements moving towards operational readiness.
  • Responsibility
  • Support the progress tracking of the mobilization and operational readiness schedule for ONxpress Operations Inc.
  • Work closely with workstreams within the O&M team to receive the information required for accurate and timely critical-path management of the project schedules.
  • maintain all required project schedules updates and ensure integrity of data across the entire project life cycle.
  • Prepare required progress reports and dashboards to provide project status updates to all internal and external clients.
  • Analyze schedule variance, float and trending and monitor schedule KPI's.
  • Develop progress measurement process and analyze progress and performance data.
  • Schedule change notices and forecast project impact. Implement corrective action when performance trends deviate from baseline ensuring minimal slippage.
  • Collaborate with all cross functional teams to maintain, add, or modify the schedule data and plans.
  • Forensic analysis of projects schedules which produce recommendations for improvement and analyze schedule delays.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field
  • Advanced proficiency in project scheduling Primavera P6 software and MS Projects
  • Certifications or Designations
  • Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP) will be advantageous
  • Ability to develop cost / schedule analysis presentations both graphically, written, and verbally
  • Experience
  • 3-5 years CPM Scheduling experience.
  • Proven experience and ability in scheduling and managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of O&M Activities.
  • Proven problem solver with sound judgment who accepts ownership and accountability.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling software which may include Primavera P6 & MS Project
